Ecola Creek Forest Reserve Advisory Committee

On April 5, 2011,the Cannon Beach City Council appointed a 10-member ad hoc advisory committee to work with the City Council, City staff, and a consultant in the preparation of a management plan for the recently acquired 800-acre Ecola Tract, located in the lower portion of the Ecola Creek watershed. The management plan will also integrate the planning for the existing 220-acres and approximately 20-acres of adjoining City owned property.

The advisory committee typically meets on the first or third Wednesday of each month at 5:30 p.m. However, meetings may be held at another date and time decided upon by the Committee.

The advisory committee will make a final recommendation to the Council on the management plan, including management guidelines and action items. It is anticipated that the draft plan will be completed by June 3, 2012. If you wish to be on the City's list of interested parties regarding the meetings of the Advisory Committee, please contact Brandy Brien.

The Advisory Committee is comprised of 10 members and an ex-officio member. The committee members are:
