Sculpture Without Walls 2009-10, A City of Cannon Beach Public Art Program
The City of Cannon Beach, Oregon is pleased to present the third annual Sculpture Without Walls (SWW), an annual yearlong outdoor sculpture exhibit. Cannon Beach, which has long been considered an arts community, is perched at the edge of the Pacific Ocean and provides a magnificent backdrop for outdoor sculpture. SWW 2009-10 will be on display from April 2009 to April 2010. Five sculptures will be selected by a panel of jurors and installed in prominent outdoor locations in Cannon Beach. On the weekend of May 2 and 3, 2009, one sculpture will be chosen by popular vote.  The winner of the “the Peoples Choice Award” will be purchased for up to $15,000 and become a permanent part of the City’s public art collection.  Click here to view brochure.  All of the sculptures will be available for purchase through the artist.

The 5 sculptures shown below were selected by this year's panel of jurors and will remain on display through April 2010.  Click here to view the map of sculpture locations for this year's contest.
